Famytec at the 9th Edition of EmpleaTech: A Meeting with Young Talent

On January 23, 2025, Famytec participated in the 9th edition of EmpleaTech, the technological employment forum organized by Colegio Tajamar. This event brought together more than 2,500 students interested in learning about job opportunities in the technology sector, as well as more than 30 leading companies in the sector, among which we are under our name SeeYou IT.

The forum was a success in participation and allowed us to connect with numerous educational centers and students who see Famytec as a reference for their professional practices. Our team, made up of Luis González, Manuel Forcén, Oscar Arroyo, Alonso Morenas, Eloy Ojeda and Mario Blanco, played a key role in this event, transmitting our values and work methodologies to the attendees.

One of our colleagues, who had the opportunity to give several talks at the event, published an article entitled “8 Tips for Junior Developers: What I Wish I Had Known When I Started.” In this text he shares valuable recommendations for those starting their career in technology, highlighting the importance of taking control of the career, making the work visible, asking for feedback and surrounding yourself with mentors. During the event, we organized a programming challenge among the attendees, the prize for which was a console. The winner of this draw recently visited our offices to collect his prize from Daniel Martín, our Director of Operations. We also took the opportunity to talk about her second-year DAW internship, which she will soon begin with us.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in EmpleaTech, especially our team for their great work and the students who were interested in our company. We will continue to support the training and development of young talent in the technology sector.
